EMILY the Dog needs a home

EMILY -- 9-year-old spayed female Pointer mix

Meet Emily, a 9-years-young white with brown spayed female Pointer mix, who is looking for a new home, along with her sister Shelley (a Beagle/Lab mix). Emily and Shelley have lived with the same family since they were puppies, and both girls are gentle, companionable dogs who have grown up with children and cats. Emily and Shelley are used to living outside with their own dogloo shelters, and go on daily walks and hikes. They are easy to walk on leash around the neighborhood, and are good citizens on off-leash trail hikes. Emily and Shelley are easy-to-care for, affectionate pups.

Emily and Shelley's family is relocating overseas for work and the city has size restrictions for dogs. They feel that a new, loving, local home will be in the dogs’ best interest. It would be ideal to keep them together, as they are bonded best friends. Emily and Shelley each weigh about 40 pounds, and are healthy and up-to-date with vaccinations.
